Wrightstown & Hilbert boys’ basketball teams win regional championships. Reedsville falls short at Ozaukee.

The Wrightstown Tigers’ boys’ basketball team are 2012 regional champions thanks to a thrilling 50-48, down-to-the-wire victory over Valders on Monday. Check back tomorrow for video of this buzzer-beating ending that sent Wrightstown’s crowd into a frenzy.

Hilbert, likewise, is also a 2012 regional champion. The Wolves took down Green Bay NEW Lutheran by a 73-61 tally.

Reedsville, however, was not able to keep its Cinderella run alive another night. The No. 8-seed Panthers, after pulling a shocking upset over No. 1 Laconia two nights earlier, fell at Ozaukee in the regional championship game by a 55-34 score.
